Der Briefwechsel des “letzten Universalgelehrten” Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz soll künftig zum Weltdokumentenerbe zählen, so der Beschluss des internationalen Beraterkomitees für das Unesco-Programm “Memory of the World“. Die ca. 15 000 Briefe werden als Teil von Leibniz’ Nachlass in der Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Bibliothek in Hannover aufbewahrt.
